English actress, Emily Blunt, born February 23, 1983, has acted in a number of films, TV shows and radio appearances, including the 2006 movie, The Devil Wears Prada.

As a child and young teen, Blunt experienced difficulties with stuttering. She was able to overcome this affliction by acting. She is active with the American Institute for Stuttering, sitting on the board of directors.

Blunt has been nominated for or won a number of acting awards, including Golden Globe and People's Choice awards

Peter is a foot painter. He creates all of his artwork using just his feet, having no arms. Peter’s disability stemmed from the drug thalidomide, which was prescribed for morning sickness until it was discovered that it caused deformities fetuses. After living most of his life without arms, Peter considers his right foot to be like the right hand of most people, using it dexterously to open doors and perform many other everyday tasks.

Natalia Partyka was born in Gdank, Pomrskie, Poland on July 27, 1989. She was born without her left forearm. She is a Paralympics champion in singles 2004 and 2008. She is also one of the only two qualified Olympians with disabilities. The other one is Natalie du Toit who participated in swimming. She had participated in both types of events intended for the able-bodied and the athletes with disabilities. In 2006 Natalia Partyka won twoGOLD medals in a European championship organized by the ITTF (International Table Tennis Federation). In 1999 she won her first GOLD medal in international table tennis, and from then onwards she has been continuously ranked number one in Para Sports and ranked within the top 50 of the competitions for the able-bodied. She is result oriented and she says, “I am not thinking if I am already or if I will be in the future the best player ever. I think that‟s possible. I„ve won many titles, but I‟m still pretty young, so we will see that in a few years. I‟d like to be the best, and that‟s why I‟m spending so many hours in the practice hall.”

Bethany Meilani Hamilton (born February 8, 1990) is an American surfer. She is known for surviving a shark attack in which she lost her left arm, and for overcoming the serious and debilitating injury to return to surfing. On October 31, 2003, Hamilton went for a morning surf along Tunnels Beach, Kauai. Around 7:10 a.m., she was lying sideways on her surfboard with her left arm dangling in the water, when a tiger shark attacked her, ripping her left arm off just below the shoulder. Just eight weeks after the incident, she returned to her board and went surfing again. In July of 2004 Hamilton won the ESPY Award for Best Comeback Athlete of the Year. She was presented with a special courage award at the 2004 Teen Choice Awards. Hamilton still aspires to become a professional surfer
